1. Strict Zero-Storage Architecture

YTD8K.in does not store, retain, or cache video or audio media files on its servers. When a user requests a video download or audio extraction, media streams are relayed directly in memory to the user's browser using ephemeral stream buffers. Zero media bytes are saved to server hard drives, disks, cloud buckets, or database storage.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require user accounts, passwords, email addresses, or phone numbers to use our video downloader. We do not store or track full source video URLs, private session tokens, or personal media viewing histories.

3. Operational Logs & Metrics

Standard server access logs may temporarily record anonymous operational data (such as anonymized IP address, timestamp, HTTP status code, and browser user-agent) solely to detect DDoS attacks, prevent SSRF abuses, and maintain server reliability. These logs are automatically rotated and purged.

4. Advertising Partners & Cookies

We partner with third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense to serve advertisements. These partners may use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on user visits to this and other sites on the internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
